CanDonate Hair Program

Indeed, we accept hair donations and we provide free wigs to children in Quebec (under the age of 16) suffering from cancer (from 12-14 ponytails received) as prescribed in our various agreements with charitable organizations.  Note that we are the only company in Québec authorized to accept hair donations.  Please note also that you can attach a letter mentioning your hair donation and this letter will be given to the child along with the wig.

• Hair must have a minimum length of 8 inches or 20cm
• Hair must be clean, dry and not being swept off the floor
• Ponytails must be fastened at both ends with rubber bands and placed in a Ziploc
• Hair bleached or dyed are accepted, but must be indicated on the package
• Grey hair and chemically treated hair are also accepted
• Hair that isn’t attached will be automatically discarded because the hair is unusable
• Always make sure the hair is washed and completely dry before sending it
